Who said that hard work doesn't pay off? I am proud and excited to announce
that my friend Brad Bykkonen and myself have decided to take the plunge into salon ownership! The Beauty Box will be everything
you have come to expect and a whole lot more. I have been wanting to do something like this in Dallas for years. When I walked
into the space I new that this would be the next step for me.
We
plan to focus on hair extensions and color in our new space. There is a serious lack of professionals providing solid services
at a fair and reasonable price. The Beauty Box is located between Oaklawn and Highland Park. It's a cute little house and
has all the charm of Evolution Salon with a bit more sophistication. We plan to keep that "feeling" and intend to
add modern and cutting edge technology.
The grand opening is schedule for sometime in March.

8/13/2009- "Chris is my all time fav! Prior
to him, I was going to Studio One Ten....and very fancy pants snooty salon. ..not to mention $$$$$$$!!!. I changed to Chris
after reading his yelp reviews. I was also interested in trying extensions...and Chris is the BEST at extensions. More on
that below. Chris is the most down to earth, funniest, cutest guy ever! He's easy to work with on scheduling too. The salon
is cute and low-key...no snooty people around here! FYI - there is no receptionist so you make your appointments online or
calling him directly.
He has more knowledge about extensions than any other stylist. He has worked for the manufacturer
of a well known extensions brand, traveled the world learning about them and educating others on them, even developed his
own line of extensions that was for sale in Nordstroms 3 years ago. He just recently got a new line (system) called Balmain
System Volume. It just came to the U.S. about 2 months ago. It is identical to strand by strand, but goes on 6 strands (i
think..maybe 8) at a time, therefore cutting the time you have to sit in the chair down to only about 30 -45 minutes and saving
you mega dollars!! I just got these extensions and am sooo in love with them!"

were so good, I decided it sounded like I could not go wrong with Chris. I had an amazing experiance and so did my friend.
He is absolutely fab!!! He knew exactly what to do with my friend, who has thin hair and the color was perfect.
I love my color and cut. I feel like a new person. I got up this morning and it took no time to style it.
